Privacy by default
No IP addresses in analytics, no requests to third parties, no fonts from someone else's server. Privacy is a design decision, not a setting.
What we do differently
-
Analytics
Visits are counted on your own server, without storing IP addresses.
-
Consent
Consent and Do-not-track are respected, and the banner remembers the answer.
-
Fonts
Fonts are served from the site itself. Nothing loads from Google.
-
Embeds
YouTube, Twitch and Mixcloud load only after a click, in a privacy-friendly player.
-
Photos
Locations in uploaded photos are rounded before they are stored.
-
Credentials
API keys and payment credentials are encrypted at rest, per site.
Your data, your server
Every site has its own database and its own storage. Analytics stay on the server that serves the site, and nothing is shared between sites — not even between two sites we run ourselves.
